I TOLD MY STORY – TRAINING

Every child has a unique set of skills and talents that cause them to see life’s challenges from a different point of view, so every child will have a different story to tell.

Why not write your story and share it with us.

That is what 3 primary schools in Uganda did at the beginning of 2019.  The prize for the successful winners was two terms school fees, a highly prized award, with runners up receiving a new mattress.  The objective of the competition was to build up life skills and help the students to improve their  proficiency in English language. Improving their story telling techniques could further advance their articulation and extend their vocabulary which could lead to greater employment opportunities in the future.

Following our experience with the pilot competition, this time we decided to send our trained English teacher to assist the students in the development of their story telling skills. We are looking forward to reading the results.
