Alex Jones of Red Planet Pictures you are a star, having climbed Africa’s highest mountain and raised more than £4,000 for Reach the Children UK.   More used to raising funds to finance TV drama as a Managing Director for Red Planet, Alex put out the word to family and friends to sponsor him as he made the five day trek to the glaciers atop Mount Kilimanjaro. Our donors do some extraordinary things to raise funds from climbing mountains to triathlons, jumping out of aeroplanes to marathons, bake outs to handmade greeting cards and much more. A certificate of appreciation now hangs on the wall in Alex’ office to remind him of just what a star he is, but he said he is not through yet;  he wants to visit in-country Reach the Children projects to see what his donations have been used for.
